Aisha Hinds, an American actor best famous for her role in the TV shows The Shield and True Blood. Since her first appearance in 2003, she has shown her versatility in acting by performing outstandingly in TV series like 9-1-1 Detroit 1--8-7 and Under the Dome. The role she played as a character in Assault on Precinct 13 from 2005 was the first one to draw her interest. But it was her performance as feminist campaigner Fannie Lou Hamer in the biographical film All the Way that finally brought her recognition as an actor. Hind also earned high praise for her role as Harriet Tubman's in WGN America's drama period series Underground. She currently stars on the procedural drama series 9-1-1 in the leading role of firefighter/paramedic Henrietta Hen Wilson. 20th Century Fox Television announced that the series is scheduled to be renewed for a second season. Hind finished the filming of the Hollywood blockbuster Godzilla: King of the Monsters that is scheduled for release in mid-2019.
