Alison Doody

Alison Doody (born 11 November 1966) is an Irish model and actress. After making her feature film debut with a tiny part in Bond film A View to a Kill (1985) she was later cast to portray the anti-Nazi archaeologist Elsa Schneider, in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (1989). Siobhan Donevan is in A Prayer for the Dying (1997), Charlotte Taffin (1988) and Rebecca Flannery Major League II (1994) were other characters. Doody was a model after she was approached. The result was that it turned out to be a profitable career. Doody was very strict about not doing the glamorous work or doing nude. The same rule continued into Doody's acting work. In 1985, following getting noticed by the directors of casting for the James Bond new film, Doody acted in a tiny part of Jenny Flex as in A View to a Kill. Her first appearance was in the movie Taffin opposite Pierce Brosnan. Next, she played Dr. Elsa Schneider as an Austrian archaeologist, Nazi-sympathizer, and antagonist to Harrison Ford. Doody acted alongside Sean Connery, who played Indiana Jones' father. Doody was a part of Jonathan Pryce as Hitler Diaries which was a British mini-series that was inspired by Hitler Diaries. In Hollywood her next move was to. She was Flannery the agent of Charlie Sheen as well as girlfriend in Major League II. She was chosen to be an alternative to Cybill Shepherd, who had been L'Oreal's spokesperson. Doody's first appearance on the screen was in 2003, when Michael Caine played Doody in a short role. She was in the film with Patrick Swayze, in the 2004 TV film version to King Solomon's Mines. Doody was part of Danny Dyer's The Rapture (2009). She guested in RTE's Medical drama The Clinic. The project was later canceled. Pam Jefferson was her character in the E4 comedy Beaver Falls for two seasons. In 2014, she appeared on We Still Kill the Old Way (2014).
