Iliza Shlesinger

 Iliza Vie Schlesinger was born 22nd February 1983. She is an American actress and comedian. She was the winner of the show on NBC's Last Comic Standing 2008 and hosts the dating show syndicated by TBS Excused as well as the TBS show Separation Anxiety.





 In 2017 Shlesinger hosted her own late-night talk show called Truth & Iliza on Freeform. She has six Netflix comedy specials. In April of 2020, Netflix premiered her sketch comedy show The Iliza Shlesinger Sketch Show.



 Iliza Vie Shlesinger was born New York City to a Jewish family. Her family brought her to Dallas, Texas by her parents, who relocated to Dallas when she was a newborn. She went to the private Greenhill School in Addison, Texas where she took classes in Spanish and was a member of the school's improv group.





 Shlesinger was a performer on ComedySportz Dallas. She also was a student at the University of Kansas her freshman year. She was part of Semester at Sea. She went on to Emerson College in Boston, Massachusetts in which she pursued a major in film, honed her editing and writing skills and became a member of one of the campus' comedy sketch groups Jimmy's Traveling All Stars.

 Shlesinger graduated from college and moved to Los Angeles to pursue stand up comedy. She was one the most popular members of the Whiteboy Comedy troupe of standup comedians from Los Angeles. It brought her to The Improv in Hollywood.
